This site is dedicated to the memory of Paul Warwick.

Paul Warwick was born on May 21, 1957. He sadly passed at the age of 56 on 3rd May 2013. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family. Paul was born in London and was the first born to Fred and Lil Warwick. He had a brother Martin and a sister Carol. Sadly his mum and Dad passed away 2 years ago. He moved to Stevenage as a young boy and continued to live in Stevenage throughout his life. When Paul left school he worked at many places Vauxhalls, ESA, BMH and Breyer were just a few of the places he worked. He started his working career at Berrick brothers where he met John Waller as a work colleague, who grew to be one of his many closest friends. John was dating Lorraine who had a twin sister Sylvia and one night they all went on a double date, this was back in 1974 and their love grew over the years. (that’s Sylvia and Paul not John !) Sylvia and Paul married on 19th May 1979. They then went on to have two wonderful daughters Fay and Amy (even though Paul was rather disappointed that his first born Fay was born a girl not a boy!). Paul had his own nicknames for his girls Sylvia was known as Del, Fay Twizzle and Amy Little lou the also had their own family secret message of 1234. Paul devoted his life to his three girls which was closely followed by Tottenham Hotspurs. He would go to the ends of the earth for his girls and his Football team Spurs. One time he did go to the ends of the earth Paul and Sylvia went abroad on holiday and Paul and John travelled back to the Uk to watch Spurs play in the Cup Final against Coventry (and they lost )then travelled back to join Sylvia & Lorraine for the rest of the holiday. He became a member of a very elite group called the Piemen, they all had their own Nick names and Pauls was Celery. Within this Pie group they raised money for local charity organisations (of course this was whilst eating the Pies and drinking a few beers!) He even called the house PIE HOUSE and would answer the phone with the words Pie house He did run the London Marathon a couple of times and trained really hard before each one to get and achieve a Personnel Best (I think that was to just finish). Well he did go out training a couple weeks before the event! Whilst the children were growing up Paul spent some memorable years with his family and friends at weekends at Cherry Tree Caravan Park and I’m sure the Glassons/Jennings family will remember the shed that went walkees ! Paul loved his holidays especially the ones spent in the apartment he shared with Lorraine and Derek in Tenerife, he had so many memorable times on these holidays with his Wife, Daughters, family and friends. Paul was not a man who made his own choices in life, well not when it came to choosing his cloths or deciding what to eat from a menu! His other passions in life was his motor bike of which he always kept under cover and would never take out unless he was guaranteed it wouldn’t rain, which looking at the mileage of his bikes wasn’t that often. His taste in music wasn’t everyone’s choice so he certainly knew how to clear a dance floor with his choice of Rock Music. So when he was asked to head up the lead singer for Jacko’s rock band he jumped at the chance, fitting into those tights was another thing! Through his journey in life he made many friends and so many of you are here today to celebrate and remember the life of a truly great man. Paul would be overwhelmed and humbled by your presences today. I’m sure you all hold many blinding and top Banana special memories of your times spent with him. Paul Frederick Warwick gone but not forgotten.
